If we only knew
How it was
And can be
We would see
What I’ve seen

And, i know
It-can be-better
Right here and right now
Is forever
And Heaven is here
But it’s fear
That keeps us from there
As we stare
And believe
This is something it’s not
Is hell
Here on earth
Is the way it will stay
Til we change.
So close
Yet so far
We dont know
Where we are
But the fire
Will clean us
As long as we need it
Til we-have come through it.
It’s backwards
Yet progress.
We’re moving towards light
Then we’ll see…
