Got some bark for a bobber.
Some corn on the hook.
Thought I’d try something different
Hope fish give it a look.
Fished here for years,
So I’m changing the bait;
A less active approach;
The ‘ol, Sit and wait.
But, along came a turtle.
I had Coy in mind.
So i reeled in the line,
Cuz I am kind.
