It can be hard to see what’s behind the reflection; impossible for some.
It takes refocus; an adjustment of sight for one to see beyond the surface.

In many cases though, that’s not enough.
But, with time, reflections too change.
Eventually, the clouds will part, and the water will be clear. Then, it becomes more a matter of perspective.
And, you may then simply need to get out of your own way, if you wish to see what lies beyond the surface.
