The fact that we’re here!

What’s your story,
And thoughts of this place?
Seem as though

Chasing possessions?
More and more?
Buying stuff
You don’t need from the store?

Blaming someone
For something that’s done?
All work? No play?
No time for some fun?

Always behind?
Never ahead?
Chasing retirement?
Leading or led?

Not sure we remember
Living with Joy,
We are lost in our story.
Mine began as a boy.

At some point, some wake
To a dream or a nightmare
Something happens.
Like, life starts from there.

And, we’re looking back,
And holding on.
Questioning life;
Right and wrong.

Blessing or curse?
Eye of beholer.
Perspective changes
As we get older.

And, through it All?
Awareness, the gift.
Insight into change;
That life’s about shift.

And, knowing that balance
Is achieved in mind;
When you let-go control,
And leave past behind.

When you can stand in the moment,
Honest with you,
About who you are,
And the things that you do.

Knowing that
We have time and space.
And, that it’s our duty
To move beyond what we chase;

Desire born,
With pleasure and pain.
Taught by leaders
Confused by gain.

So, to wrap this up,
It’s left with you.
Consider your heart
And what you do.

Follow your voice.
Believe in Love.
Trust in yourself
And in God above.

Know, you’re his child.
He’s guiding the way.
Take time to listen.
There’s only today.

Meaning, do right, right now.
Time will show.
Dare to give of yourself.
Your efforts will show.

Like footprints in sand,
Will reveal where you’ve been.
Walk proud with purpose.
Right now, we begin.
